Exclusive Southhampton Beach Vacation Vibes
We recently took a trip to Halsey Neck Beach in Southampton and were absolutely blown away. Halsey Neck Beach is one of the Best Beaches in the Hamptons. Not only was the beach an idyllic stretch of soft white sand and crystal clear blue waters, but the town itself is full of all sorts of delightful activities and attractions. From the adorable little restaurants and ice cream shops to the charming stay at the Southhampton Inn, there’s something for everyone in this charming seaside town.
Halsey Neck Beach is a stunning stretch of coastline that sits on the eastern tip of Long Island. The beach is lined with lush green trees and wildflowers, and the sand is a soft white that’s perfect for sunbathing. There’s plenty of room for swimming and splashing around in the clear blue waters, and the views of the nearby lighthouse and ocean are simply breathtaking. The beach is also home to some great spots for fishing and rock-collecting, so there’s plenty of entertainment to be had. The day we were there, there may have been 12 people on this long stretch of beach.
The Town of Southampton
The town of Southampton is full of quaint little restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or an indulgent dinner, you’ll find plenty of tasty options here. From cozy cafes to upscale eateries, there’s something for everyone. And of course, no trip to Southampton would be complete without a stop at one of the local ice cream shops for a cool treat.
Our Southampton Hotel Stay – A quick walk to the beach
Our stay at the Southhampton Inn was such a delight. The inn itself is a charming Victorian-style building with plenty of luxurious amenities including a lovely pool. As we approached the entrance to the inn to gather our luggage, we spotted a female deer munching on the leaves of a bush just in front of the hotel which only emphasized the charm of this place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Plus, the inn is conveniently located just a few blocks from the beach, so it’s a great spot to stay while you’re enjoying the beauty of Halsey Neck.
When it comes to planning your trip to Halsey Neck Beach or any of the exclusive beaches in Southampton (or the rest of the Hamptons), it’s best to plan ahead. May is a great time to visit, as the weather is pleasant and the prices are more reasonable than they are in the peak months of July and August. The summer months can be quite expensive – especially for hotels, so if you’re looking for a deal, it’s best to plan your trip for the spring or fall.
